11. Ceramic Light-Up Halloween Trees

12

Following the massive popularity of ceramic Christmas trees, the 1980s saw a surge in ceramic Halloween trees. These hand-painted, kiln-fired ceramic trees were glazed in deep blacks, dark purples, or vibrant oranges. Instead of traditional multi-colored bulbs, they were adorned with small, plastic pin-lights shaped like orange pumpkins, purple bats, and yellow cats, topped with a glowing witch or ghost star. Illuminated by a single bulb inside the base, these heavy, heirloom-quality pieces cast a beautiful, moody glow across cozy retro living rooms.
