13. Grim Reaper Mirror Portal
Take your hallway mirror to a terrifying new level by turning it into a portal to the underworld. Using a life-sized, lightweight plastic skull and skeletal hands, cut them in half flatly. Mount them directly onto the surface of a large, dark-framed mirror using removable adhesive strips, positioning them so it looks like the Grim Reaper is physically climbing out of the glass and into your home.
Drape heavy black tulle or distressed netting around the frame to hide the mounting edges and add to the gloomy, decayed aesthetic.
