11. Enchanted Floating Candles
Bring a touch of whimsical wizardry to your dining room or hallway with floating candles that defy gravity. You can easily make these using empty cardboard paper towel or toilet paper rolls. Paint them white, drizzle hot glue around the top rim to look like dripping candle wax, and paint over the glue once dry. Insert a battery-operated, flickering LED tea light into the top of each tube.
Suspend these faux candles from the ceiling using clear fishing line at varying heights. When the lights are dimmed, the cardboard tubes disappear into the darkness, leaving only the warm, flickering flames hovering magically in the air.
