How to Make It
- Clean the sun-bleached limb and secure a hanging twine loop to both ends.
- Cut lengths of macramé cord (one 15-inch center spine cord and twenty 8-inch cross cords per feather).
- Tie cross cords onto the spine cord using alternating Lark’s Head knots to build the feather structure.
- Comb the cotton cords thoroughly using a fine-tooth slicker brush until individual strands separate into an ultra-fluffy texture.
- Trim the combed fibers into clean, tapered leaf/feather silhouettes using fabric shears.
