Dripping Blood Pillar Candles
Add a dramatic, gothic touch to your console table or fireplace mantel with custom dripping blood pillar candles. This budget-friendly DIY project looks incredibly striking and is very simple to create. Start with several thick, unscented white pillar candles of various heights. Take a vibrant red taper candle, light it, and carefully hold it at an angle over the white pillars, allowing the melting red wax to drip slowly down the sides of the white candles. The red wax will pool and run down the white surfaces, creating a realistic, chilling “dripping blood” effect.
