17. Shadow Silhouette Lampshades
Turn your everyday lighting fixtures into sources of spooky delight with shadow silhouette lampshades. Print out or draw small silhouettes of spiders, rats, bats, or reaching zombie hands on black paper. Cut them out and use double-sided tape to stick them to the inside surface of your fabric lampshades. During the day, the silhouettes remain hidden from view. But the moment you turn the lamps on in the evening, the light projects the dark, crisp shadows of the creepy creatures onto the outside of the shade, making it look as though they are crawling around inside your lamps.
