15. Bubbling Witches’ Cauldron
No Halloween home is complete without a bubbling witches’ cauldron simmering in the corner. Place a large, matte-black plastic or ceramic cauldron on a hearth or a low table. To create the illusion of a boiling, magical potion, place a small mist maker or a bowl of warm water with dry ice inside the cauldron, allowing the thick, white fog to spill lazily over the edges. Weave a strand of vibrant green or purple LED lights inside the cauldron beneath the fog source to illuminate the vapor from within, making it look like a glowing, toxic brew. Scatter some faux bones and spell books around the base to complete the witch’s workspace.
