19. Sunken Coral and Moss River Temple

Introduction

An ancient, moss-overgrown stone temple ruins nestled partially underwater in a crystal river, glowing with colorful coral reefs and sea life.

What This Idea Means

This build explores aquatic fairy mythology, ruined ancient civilization aesthetics, and the vibrant collision of stone ruins with living coral ecosystems.

Materials Needed

  • Mossy stone bricks, cracked stone bricks, and cobblestone
  • Brain, bubble, fire, and tube coral blocks
  • Sea pickles, kelp, and sea grass
  • Water buckets and glowing sea lanterns
  • Vines and lily pads

How to Make It

  1. Build a partially ruined classical stone temple structure along a riverbank, allowing half of the stone architecture to sit submerged underwater.
  2. Cover the above-water stone blocks in thick green moss and hanging vines.
  3. Plant vibrant colorful coral blocks, sea pickles, kelp, and seagrass across the underwater temple ruins.
  4. Hide sea lanterns beneath coral blocks to make the entire underwater river temple glow with magical aquatic light.

Tips and Variations

Add tropical fish swimming through the ruined archways and broken windows of the temple to bring the aquatic fairy scene to life.
